AGREEMENT
Terms Of Service
Please review our terms of service before booking with Spring Tours Oman.
Role of Spring Tours Oman and Limitation of Liability
Established in 1996, Spring Tours Oman is a proudly Omani-owned Destination Management Company (DMC) based in Muscat. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and the booking of our travel, accommodation, transport, and visa services.
- Spring Tours Oman acts as an organizer and facilitator for your travel arrangements within the Sultanate of Oman. We contract with independent suppliers (hotels, third-party transport, etc.) to provide these services.
- While we carefully select our partners based on our 27+ years of experience, we are not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or delays caused by the actions, omissions, or negligence of third-party suppliers.
- Payment and Exchange Rates: Tour prices are quoted in Omani Rials (OMR) or US Dollars (USD). Some banks and card-issuing companies may charge their account holders a foreign transaction fee. If you have questions about the exchange rate applied, please contact your bank.
By confirming a booking with us and paying the required deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
Inbound Tour Booking Conditions
From desert adventures in Wahiba Sands to coastal experiences in Salalah, we strive to deliver the highest quality of service. However, natural conditions in Oman dictate certain flexibility.
- Itinerary Modifications: We reserve the right to modify or cancel tour itineraries at our discretion if weather conditions (such as Wadi flash floods or Khareef season disruptions) pose a safety risk.
- Our tailored cultural, adventure, and luxury packages include English/Arabic-speaking guides unless requested otherwise. Entrance fees to historical sites are only included if explicitly mentioned in your package.
- Health and Fitness: Some activities, such as hiking in Jabal Shams or Wadi Shab, require a moderate level of physical fitness. It is the traveler's responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions prior to booking.
Travel Insurance
Spring Tours Oman highly recommends that all travelers purchase comprehensive international travel insurance in their home country before departing for Oman. This should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and adventure activities.
Car Rental Agreement & Requirements
Spring Tours Oman provides a modern fleet of 4WDs and luxury sedans for all terrains across the Sultanate. By renting a vehicle from us, the renter agrees to the following terms:
- Driving License: The renter must present a valid passport, a national driving license, and an International Driving Permit (IDP).
- Security Deposit: A security deposit via a valid Credit Card in the driver's name is mandatory to cover potential traffic fines, toll charges, or vehicle damage not covered by insurance.
- Off-Road Driving: Driving sedans off-road is strictly prohibited. 4WD vehicles may be taken off-road (e.g., Wahiba Sands, Jebel Akhdar) only if authorized by the rental agreement. Damage caused by reckless off-road driving will be charged entirely to the renter.
Visa Assistance & Processing Terms
We provide hassle-free entry processing and visa assistance for our international partners and tourists visiting Oman. However, the final issuance of visas is at the sole discretion of the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
- Passport Validity: To apply for an Omani visa, your passport must be valid for at least six (6) months from your scheduled date of entry into the Sultanate.
- Processing Time: Standard processing times may vary. We recommend initiating the visa process at least 2 to 3 weeks prior to travel. We are not responsible for delays caused by government processing systems.
- Rejections: If a visa is rejected by the Omani authorities for security or administrative reasons, the visa application fee remains non-refundable.
